2. You are not able to pair your Echo dot with Alexa

If this is not working then the factory restores the device and Echo dot. Then try to reconnect and relaunch the device. If still, you are facing any issue while performing any skill, then delete the skill and re-add that. This is the fastest way to connect the Alex with Echo dot.

3. Alexa is not listening to you
If Echo dot is not responding to your voice command then you can improve the unresponsiveness by using the Amazon voice training tool. 
  • To initiate this feature, you have to open the Alexa app then tap on the menu icon. 
  • After that, you have to scroll down to search for the settings.
  • Then, you have to select your profile. Followed by, tap on the manage tab.
If you have more than one Echo dot device then try to create separate profiles for that. This will help Alexa to switch between the devices.

4. Music is not responding
Sometimes you are trying to set a playlist of your favorite music with Echo dot but it is not responding then try to unplug your device and wait for a while and plug it again. This will help in troubleshooting the issues. Or else you can shut down the music stream. Again wait for a while and then turn it on.

5. Loud notifications
To fix this issue you have to open your Alexa app. Now you have to select the device. After that, you have to pick the device and then choose sound. You can adjust the volume of the device by using the sliders.
