  2. Tap Devices. This will appear on the right-hand side of your display.
  3. Then, choose Echo & Alexa. You will see this on the upper-right edge of the screen.
  4. Select the Alexa device that you wish to connect to the new WiFi network. If you aren't able to find your device then go back to the Devices screen and choose All Devices. You'll see this on the right side of Echo & Alexa app. If you are still unable to locate your device, it could be required to reset it and make it an entirely new device.
  5. Then, you can tap Next, and after that tap on Status. This will display the WiFi connection your gadget is connected to.
  6. Next step is to Tap on change. Then, go under the Wi-Fi network in the section beneath wireless.
  7. After that, press and hold the button of your Echo device.
  8. When your device is set up then click to continue. It will be clear that the phone is set up when your device's ring light changes to orange and then spins. Additionally, the display on your Alexa device will display, "Now in setup mode. Follow the directions within the Alexa application."
  9. Thereafter, choose your Alexa device from the dropdown list.
  10. After that, click on the brand new WiFi network. If you do not notice your WiFi network showing up within a couple of seconds you can press the Rescan Network tab near the top of your screen.
  11. Then, type in your WiFi password, then click Connect.
  12. Then you'll have to be patient until you wait for your Alexa device to join the newly created WiFi network. This could take several minutes. It can take a few minutes. Alexa device will inform you once it has been connected to the latest WiFi network.
