  5. If you aren't able to find this option, either expand the window of your browser or zoom out from the page.
  6. Then, select Create the device as a new one..
  7. Then, choose the type of Alexa device you wish to connect to a brand new WiFi network. You will be able to see additional choices in the list by scrolling.
  8. Then click to continue.
  9. Next, plug your Alexa device into a functional power source.
  10. Wait for the LED bulb on the ring to turn orange.
  11. After closing your browser and opening your phone or computer's WiFi networks. If you're using a Windows10 computer to configure Alexa to connect, select the WiFi icon located in the bottom right area of the screen. 
  12. If you're using a macOS then you'll find the WiFi icon located in the upper right corner of your display. 
  13. If you're using an Android or iPhone then navigate to settings and from there choose wifi. There you'll find the network in the list of the connected WiFi networks.
  14. Return to your web browser and click Continue. 
  15. Once you have been connected to the WiFi network, you'll be prompted with a message that reads, "Your computer is connected" to your Amazon Alexa device.
  16. Choose the WiFi network you wish Alexa to be connected to. If you have previously saved WiFi networks, you will be able to skip the following step.
  17. Then, type in your WiFi password, then click Connect.
  18. Then just be patient for the Alexa device to join the brand new WiFi network. 
  19. After that, you can test the network by asking Alexa to ask a question. For instance, you could ask, "Alexa, what's the forecast for tomorrow's weather?"
