Step 5: Under the WiFi network tab, click on the continue button.
Step 6: After that, press the action button on the Echo Dot and hold it until you see an orange light.
Step 7: Then, you need to tap on the continue button to proceed further.
Step 8: When you see an orange light on the Echo Dot device, click on the yes button.
Step 9: Now, open the WiFi settings on your phone and choose the Amazon-xxx network.
Step 10: After that, go back to the Alexa app and wait until the Alexa scan for the WiFi network.

  • Try to restart your Echo Dot device. Unplug your Echo Dot and wait for a few seconds. Now, plug it back and check if the issue is resolved or not. 
  • If restarting the Echo Dot is not working, then try to restart your router and modem. Unplug the router and modem and then plug them back in after a few seconds.
